Training
Our Gilberts location hosts a variety of training classes and events. We have a different trainers to accommodate your pet’s needs. We have classes from puppy to adult, beginning to advanced. Can’t commit to a training class? We have private lessons, in home training, or even Boot Camp. If you are not sure which program works for you, contact us for a consultation.

Training Room
Puppy Class
An 8-week course for puppies ages 8 weeks to 5 months designed to build a basic foundation by socializing your pup with careful, positive exposure to all things he will encounter as an adult so he can mature into a friendly and confident dog. Perfect class for those who have not owned or trained a dog before.
Puppy Socialization
An 8-week course for pups ages 12 weeks to 6 months. Housebreaking, leash/collar use, socialization, healthcare, nutrition, grooming, and basic obedience exercises will be introduced. Question/answer sessions are reviewed at the end of each class. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy* evaluations will be offered at the end of the course. (All puppies must have 2 of the 3 boosters prior to entering class)
Beginner
An 8-week course for dogs ages 6 months and up. Basic obedience skills are introduced such as sit, down, stay, come, and heel, along with healthcare, nutrition, and how to understand your dog’s breed(s) and personality. AKC Canine Good Citizen* curriculum is followed and evaluations will be offered at the end of the course.
Advanced Beginner
An 8-week course designed to reinforce basic commands such as sit, stay, down, come when called, heel on leash and other social skills. This class is for dogs who know the above commands, but need some help in focusing or strengthening their abilities to follow through with the command given. An evaluation of your dog and its obedience skills are assessed prior to enrollment.
Intermediate
An 8-week course that continues to sharpen obedience skills and teaches the basic fundamentals of off leash training as well as other advanced exercises.
Introduction to Rally Class
AKC's newest form of obedience that is just plain FUN! Rally is a sport in which the dog and handler complete a course that has been designed by the rally judge. The judge tells the handler to begin, and the dog and handler proceed at their own pace through a course of designated 10-20 stations depending on the level. Each of these stations has a sign providing instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. Handlers are encouraged to talk to their dogs during the performance. Scoring is not as rigorous as traditional obedience.
Rally Drop-in
If you cannot commit to a class or need to sharpen up your skills before a Rally Trial, drop in and run through a rally course. Our trainers will be on hand to assist you with any questions you may have.
Fundamentals of Agility
Our fundamentals of Agility class teaches the basic principles of agility. You will learn basic commands, contact obstacles, as well as jumps, tunnels, and weave poles.
Beginner Agility
Beginner Agility is for students who have completed the Foundations Agility Class. General obstacles will be reviewed as well as learning new obstacles such as chute a-frame and more weaves. Dogs must have basic obedience training for this course.
Therapy Dog Class
This class is designed to teach you and your dog the essentials to become a certified Pet Therapy dog. In this class, we will review basic obedience commands and incorporate necessary obstacles, equipment, and activities to get your dog accustomed to therapy work. At the end of the class, you and your dog will be evaluated to become a Certified Pet Therapy Dog.
Flyball
Flyball is a fast paced sport that consists of jumping and retrieving. Each dog must run a line of hurdles, retrieve a ball, and return to the start/finish line. In competition, each team consists of four dogs who compete in a "relay" style race. Fastest team who completes the hurdles and retrieves wins.
Beginner Flyball
In the Beginner Flyball class, fundamentals of flyball will be discussed, including teaching your dog to jump, retrieve, and come when called.
Tricks
We offer two levels of trick class: Beginner and Advanced. You can teach an old dog new tricks! This class is open to dogs and handlers of all ages. Learn how to teach your dog, rollover, paw, jump through a hula hoop, beg, sit pretty, and so much more! This is a fun class for the whole family!
Study Hall
Our Study Hall is designed to be a drop in training. Can’t commit to a class? Not sure which class you should join? Come during drop in and stay as little or as long as you would like. You will work on your own, however, trainers are on hand to assist with any questions or problems that you might have. This is open for dogs and handlers of all ages. If you need extra training time or practice before a trial or show, stop in for Study Hall.
Boot Camp
A daily training program designed especially for busy pet owners. Drop off your dog at Boot Camp for a half day while one of our trainers will teach your dog basic obedience commands and exercises and work on behavior training. At the end of the week, a private lesson will be given to show you what your dog has learned.
Private Lessons
If you have a specific need such as a behavioral issue or problem or simply need more one-on-one time, schedule a private lesson. You will be matched with a specific trainer to work on you and your pet’s needs. Whether you need to fix a specific problem, or just simply want to learn more obedience exercises, private lessons are designed around your wants and needs. Private Lessons are by appointment only and must give 24 hours notice of cancellation.
In Home Traing
Similar to Private Lessons. If you have a specific need such as a behavioral issue or problem or simply need more one-on-one time, schedule an in home consultation. You will work one on one with a specific trainer who will work on specific in home needs such as behavior and manners or obedience around your neighborhood. In Home Training Sessions are by appointment only and must give 24 hours notice of cancellation.
Conformation
This class prepares you and your dog for the conformation show ring. Learn how to stack, gait, groom, and ring procedures with your dog. Excellent run through class for those with more experience as well.
