Canned foods make an excellent addition to dry food diets, for
extra variety and increased palatability. Canned foods have a
higher moisture content than dry diets and are often recommended
for pets with urinary tract problems because increased fluid
intake can be helpful for these conditions. Canned foods are
also softer, for the mouths of older dogs with dental problems

Whatever you decide to feed your dog, make sure you know what
your dog is eating! Beware of certain ingredients such as
by-products, corn (an inexpensive filler that is used in
processing lower quality foods that is hard for pets to digest).
