We believe that feeding a good quality pet food is very important to the health of your pets. Most of our pet foods are made with human grade ingredients and are free of animal by-products (meat that is used from "bad" rendering processes and can include meat of dead, dying, diseased or disabled animals). It is important to READ the labels on your pets’ food and UNDERSTAND what the ingredients mean.
Whatever you decide to feed your dog, make sure you know what your dog is eating! Beware of certain ingredients such as by-products, corn (an inexpensive filler that is used in processing lower quality foods that is hard for pets to digest). Canned foods make an excellent addition to dry food diets, for extra variety and increased palatability. Canned foods have higher moisture content than dry diets and are often recommended for pets with urinary tract problems because increased fluid intake can be helpful for these conditions. Canned foods are also softer, for the mouths of older dogs with dental problems as well as young puppies. We carry canned foods from:
