About Four Legs Pets
Four Legs Pets' mission is to enhance the lives of our companion
pets one pet at a time.
Four Legs Pets, Inc. is owned and operated by Stacy Pyrek of
Gilberts, Illinois. Four Legs Pets is insured and bonded and is
also a member of Pet Sitters International and National
Association of Professional Pet Sitters. Stacy has experience
both professionally and personally caring for a wide variety of
animals. The family currently owns two adopted dogs, and an
Australian Shepherd, two cats, a reptile, and many horses. Two
of the three dogs are certified Therapy Dogs through Therapy
Dogs, Inc. where they perform therapy work in various places
such as nursing homes, hospitals and schools, as well as work
with the mentally and physically handicapped.
Stacy personally trains their own pets, and uses many techniques
at home to work with their dogs. For the past several years
Stacy has been a member of a Dog Training Club and assisted some
of her clients with behavior modification on their dogs.
Stacy is an avid reader of many pet journals, books, web sites and
messages boards. Stacy has done some research on pet foods and
pet nutrition and educates her clients about what’s in pet food
and how to read and understand the label. She plans to study
animal reiki and massage this coming year.
